Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as we all know because it helps to fulfill the energy need after a long night fasting. When  we wake up in the morning, all our energy is used up and hence we need new energy to go through our daily routine. Due to this breakfast is the first step to start a healthy and fruitful day full of energy. Students who do not eat breakfast can hamper their health because scarcity of energy can brings the health problem like gastroenteritis and low mental activity. Headache, sleepiness, stomach pain, muscle fatigue, etc. Indecisiveness, anger, anxiety, irritability, unhappiness, nervousness, lethargy, hostility, etc. are some other problems that can be seen in students who skip their breakfast. This process(process of skipping breakfast) slow down the learning process among students.


There is direct correlation between the breakfast and test marks. Because a study said, students who take morning breakfast have a good learning capability because energy requirement of brain is fulfilled by the morning breakfast. Breakfast also fulfill the ¼ of the energy need of the body in a day. This also cut down the obesity in students so it saves from diabetes type of disease. Morning breakfast should have a blend of protein and fiber and while selecting a breakfast every parent should insure that the breakfast they are giving to their pal should contain all vitamins, mineral, protein and carbohydrate. Carbohydrate is essential for the better energy requirement. In general morning breakfast should not be less then a  cereal, milk and fruits. These three things have a good amount of all vitamins, mineral and roughage. But there are  several other breakfast that kids will surely like

 we should include fruit in our kids diet. Fruits like orange, grapes, berries, apples kiwis are the best choice for breakfast. Every parent should serve these fruit along with yogurt and cereal.
2) Parent should keep this in mind, that they should choose the cereals with plenty of fiber like oatmeal.
3)  Veg omelet is also a very good example of breakfast with low fat milk. If this is possible then fruit juice should also be in children meal.

Healthy Menu Choices for Breakfast


• a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal topped with fruit and walnuts

• a bowl of high-fiber, whole-grain cereal with milk and sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries, or other fruit

• 6 or 8 ounces of low-fat yogurt with blueberries and sunflower seeds

• a whole-grain English muffin with peanut butter

• an omelet made with one egg and one egg white, or egg substitute, served with whole-grain toast and orange slices

• scrambled eggs made with two eggs and a teaspoon of yoghurt, served with a slice of smoked salmon and a whole-grain English muffin

• two soft-boiled eggs with a slice of wholemeal toast and yeast spread or nut butter

• pancakes made with wholegrain wheat, spelt, brown rice or soy flour (or a combination of flours), served with honey or fresh fruit and low fat yoghurt

• a smoothie made with milk, yogurt, orange or pineapple juice, strawberries or blueberries, and banana, plus some oat bran, ground flax seeds, or wheat germ for extra fiber and healthful oils.
