Podcasting is very good means to share our work and experiences with a huge audience over internet. Now these days this is being used by many universities and schools to promote the work and achievement of students.
Now this is the real question what is the Podcast?
A podcast is a series of digital media file that are released episodically and can be downloaded from internet. This is known as delayed broadcasting. Podcast is recorded first with some recording device and after some editing it is distributed on the internet in the form of episode of a program or a work. Which people can listen in leisure time and can download.
Basic Requirement for Podcasting
1. Recording device
2. Computer and Microphone
3. Editing Software
4. Passion to broadcast the work continuously
Method used to upload a podcast to iTunes.
1. Open iTunes on your computer
2. Go to iTunes Store to submit your podcast. For this an iTunes account is needed if you don’t have one then make this.
3. Scroll down to page under the heading "Learn More," click "Submit a Podcast."
4. On submission page, just copy and paste the feed URL. In order to submit a podcast, you must have an RSS feed with a publicly accessible URL. Then click "Continue," and if you have all of the iTunes tags in your feed, you will simply see a summary of your podcast. However, if iTunes cannot find, , and tags in your feed, you will be led to a new screen for you to fill in this information.
5. Wait for approval. Once you successfully submit your podcast, it will be reviewed by the iTunes staff before being published. If it is approved, you will be able to find it in the podcast directory on iTunes
Method used for Blogger to broadcast podcast
1. Open blogger.com
2. Login to your blogger account
3. From Dashboard click on new post and type you title
4. Before you post your podcast make it sure that your MP3 file is already on server. Save it on your server and copy the URL
5. Now there are two ways you can do this. You can write up an entry and provide a link within the entry. To do this, create a text link with the link tool, and type in the URL of your mp3 file.

Or, you can just create a post that only consists of the link. Go to Settings/Formatting page and set "Show Link Field" to "Yes." Then, underneath the Title: box, there should be a Link: box where you can type in your URL.
7. Before you finish, go back up to Settings/Basic to add a description of your site and your podcast. Publish the post
