New research conducted by Laura F. DeFina of The Cooper Institute in Dallas pointed out that the compound in omega-3 fatty acids has no slimming effects in human. This study was conducted on overweight individuals and each of them has been given the Omega -3 fatty acids, did not lose weight.
“Intially this study was conducted on animals and dose of omega-3 fatty acids has promoted the weight loss in animals but same on human has a mix result” said DeFina
Fish oil is have multiple benefits like including cutting cholesterol, improving insulin sensitivity, and reducing blood pressure. Weight-loss program seems like a heart break for the dietician who was initially recommending the omega oil.
