sometimes we humans feel that we need to hold on to our train of
thought or something bad will happen. But that's not true,
meditation is about realizing that it's ok to stop. thats why one
of the most powerful aids to meditation is the decision to commit a
portion of time to meditation, say 1/2 hr to one hour. If you can
fully commit that time knowing that afterwards you will be able to
pick up where you left off easily. Then you will be able to get a
much more powerful meditation.
